Seva Bharati Guntur
Is known for its service activities in social emergence, with its rich experience indeed proved once again in recent flood. Seva Bharati conducted various service activities in association with Janasamkshema Samiti in many occasions, in 1996 cyclone relief and rehabilitation in East Godavari District, in1998 floods in Krishna District, in 2004 Service activities in Tsunami affected areas. Seva Bharati always in search of the peoples’ need and rises to the demand at times.
At present in Guntur District as it is know to every body that many villages in Guntur District was badly affected due to River Krishna floods. Men and material mobilized on war foot by Seva Bharati Guntur. Relief camps were initiated in Guntur District at various Mandals like Tullur, Repalle, Amaravati, Achampet, Vallabhapuram. Water, Meals, Biscuts, Milk and medicines were given to the flood victims.
How it happened to Rapalle town..
It is quite interesting that in the early hours of 7th October ’09 Repalle town was submerged in flood water. This is all happened because, the weak portion of river bank near Penumudi aqua duct was having a small seepage in the previous day, in spite of many officials kept to protect and save people, but of no use. The have not taken seriously to the locals request, the negligence of officials lead to thousands of paddy land was marooned in water, gave a big loss to crops in thousands of acres cultivation, admin staff, and govt has bare the responsibility for this bad situation.
Soon after knowing the news as the water touching Repalle our 50 member team of swayamsevaks reached the place Rapalle and rescued many lives including women, children and animals.
Vallbhapuram
Crush Gates at vallabhapuram was partially damaged and flood water is about to push the gates. At that time our swayamsevaks of the village, rushed to the place and gathered the locals and finally prevented the flood enter water entering to village.
Achampet
On 7th oct’09 at kogantivaripalem in Achampet mandal our swayamsevaks distributed cloths and utensils.
This is just only an example but many locals joined in our service activity and gave their full co-operation to meet the demand.
Seva Bharati Guntur requests all philanthropists, kind hearted people to come forward and donate generously to the noble cause.
Tullur
Rayapudi and Harichandrapuram are the two villages just adjacent to the Krishna canal in Tullru Mandal. Totally submerged in the floods on 4th Oct 09. Our swayam sevaks went the with food, water and Biscuts for immediate relief. All the fishermen houses were gutted lost their boats, and nets.
Seva Bharati Guntur is having 80 G and FCRA to receive foreign contributions.

Oct '09 morning the people living in Repalle were came to the bank of river krishna was damaged water is rushing to the city. Immidiately one of our swayamsevaks informed the situation to the Sangh Karyalay Guntur. Then a team of 50 members moved from Tenali, Guntur, Vemuru to the town Repalle to Rescue the people.
